...Play Ball...

Home...sweet....home.

yes...I painted the right field measurement directly on the house!

Early this summer, I helped create a field of dreams...fit for a young lady.

Knock your Sox off.....

I painted a pair of "Red Sox" at the end of a driveway for a family out in Western, Massachusetts.

...and there I am with the "rig" that made the "Monster Trip"....

Last fall I worked with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of MA to help in part to grant a wish for a very courageous young man. I painted an outdoor Green Monster complete with a manual scoreboard!! Well, opening day happened for "Greg's Field of Dreams" a couple of weeks ago, and I was fortunate enough to be included in the festivities. Today, there was a story about the "Monster Bash" in Westwood's Daily News Transcript. Click on it to check it out! Here's to wishing the best for Greg and his family!! I felt honored to be part of his wish and to be included on his special day.

Congratulations to all the Sox fans for being part of history last night....500 consecutive sell-outs at Fenway! I was hoping to be at 501st consecutive sell out tonight as to watch my niece and her 8th grade class sing the national anthem at Fenway!! Let's hope the rain does not put a damper on the game. I have actually sent my sister-in-law in my place - thought it was a great way to celebrate her birthday!

"Monstah House", Woburn, MA

Monstermania!!! Yes, I painted some details to turn the back of this house into the Green Monster...making it the "Monstah House". The client's bought the green colored house about three years ago, and ever since then thought...hmmm...that looks a lot like the color of our favorite ball park!! There you have it...Fenway Park in Woburn! Yes, they are going to paint the down spouts in a nice foul pole yellow!!! How fun!! "Monstah House" before....

Monster Lobby, Holiday Inn Express, Waltham, MA

Have a sleep-over at Fenway Park....well kind of... I was commissioned to paint the likeness of Fenway Park's Green Monster in the Lobby of the Holiday Inn Express in Waltham, MA. Incorporating authentic bleacher seats from the park, take a seat...and a picture!!!
Before photo of the wall.

"Musical Monster" Symphony Hall, Boston, MA

I was commissioned to paint a 8' x 24' Green Monster for the Alzheimer's Association of MA & NH for an event they had at Boston's Symphony Hall. I was so excited to be included in this event. I painted the Monster in six 4' x 8' sections up in NH in my folks barn, then with the help of my friend Barb, we transported the Monster to Boston. The Monster was then installed by the fabulous Facility Crew at Symphony Hall. I headed to the event early so that I could touch-up the wall.

The wall was then auctioned off live at the event. It was a really great evening...that included a photo with Wally in front of my Monster and front row seats at the Pops! So very cool!!! Here is a picture from my seat!...

The Monster is made out of all exterior grade materials, so that it can be installed in a back yard or at a little league field to make for the perfect baseball backdrop!

"Monster Wall", Chatham, MA

Before I left on my "Monster Trip", I painted a "Monster Wall" in Chatham, MA. Named the "Monster Wall" because the length of the wall is the same as that of the height of the Green Monster at Fenway Park...37 FEET!! Painted April 2009. This project was filmed by New England Dream House of NECN. I will keep you posted on when the segment will air!!
